Support Testwood Lakes Sailability
Testwood Lakes Sailability exists to give disabled and disadvantaged sailors the chance to get out on the water — something many would never otherwise experience. We're entirely volunteer-run and rely on donations, sponsorship, and the generosity of our local community to keep sailing accessible to everyone.
Every contribution, large or small, helps us maintain our boats, support our volunteers, and welcome new sailors aboard.
For individuals
Make a donation
Make a one-off or a regular gift. Regular gifts help us to plan ahead and keep costs down for the sailors who need us most.

Nominate us for a grant
Organisations like the Benefact Group's Movement for Good give away free grants each year, no cost to you — just a nomination.

Give your time
We're always looking for volunteers — on the water as sailing helpers, or on shore with admin, maintenance, and events. No sailing experience needed; just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
For local businesses
Sponsor a boat or piece of equipment
Our fleet needs regular maintenance and occasional replacement. Sponsoring a dinghy, buoyancy aid set, or safety equipment is a tangible way to see your support in action — with your business acknowledged on-site and online.
Corporate volunteering days
Bring your team out for a hands-on day helping with boat maintenance, site upkeep, or event support — a great way to build team spirit while supporting a great cause.
Matched giving
If your company offers a matched giving scheme, your employees' donations or fundraising for TLS could be doubled — always worth checking with your HR team.
Gifts in kind
Materials, trade services (boat repairs, timber, paint, signage), or discounted supplies are just as valuable as cash donations and directly reduce our running costs.
